Our last papaya harvest was just before Christmas 2013, during a warm bout of Florida winter. So after 3 papayaless months, I saw a sudden ripening of what I thought would be a perpetual Papaya-Greenie. Oh what joy!!
I took no risk of potential Squirrel Damage. By noon, it was harvested, brought to safe ground, to be further ripened on my kitchen window sill where there is morning sun.
Nice & Heavy which means it’s juicy. Ignore the Freckles!! 😀
