Looking out the window

I decided to take a photograph out of the window when we crossed the International Date Line, (over the Pacific Ocean) the time when I lost a day in my life… well, watch and calendar-wise, that is.

On the 1st morning here, I walked along Stamford Road and crossed to Orchard Road, a stretch which I have walked on, over and over, since I was a school going child frequenting the National Library, to a young adult in college, to a working professional trying to climb the “job ladder”, the junction of decades of memories …

This was the start of a 3-mile walk to see and absorb the changes (& there’s been a lot of changes!)  that have occurred over the last couple of years.
