What is your favorite color?
Blue.  All shades of blue ~ from blue skies to blue seas to blue jeans to blue fountain pen ink and not forgetting blue flowers …

(like the Butterfly Pea-flower which I use to color rice dumplings).

In what do you find the simplest of joys?
Walking in the garden and talking to my plants & picking fresh tomatoes or berries or cherries in the morning and just munching them with a mug of hot coffee in hand. (Strange combination but brings “the simplest of joys”.)

Would you prefer a reading nook or an art, craft, photography studio?
Nook! Yes, 2014 has seen me becoming a hard-core Nookie.

What is at least one of your favorite quotes?
“You always get what you settle for.”

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful to be safely home after a 27-hr flight & transit stretch, overcoming the usual 2-day jet-lag fatigue last week and now waking up in a bed that feels familiar and enjoying the cool, clean air of Fall.

Tomorrow (or so FedEx tells me) I will be getting my new toy ~ the FitBit Flex Wireless Tracker ~ and with that I’m looking forward to slow-training & doing some long distance runs again.  (In school my nickname was Itchyfeet.)

Update Nov 13:  Got my Fitbit Flex, activated it, trying it out and come this weekend the Flexi-Fun begins.
