Above ground is a gravel pathway within an English styled tropical garden courtyard of the 5-star Raffles Hotel (built in 1887).
Here, the air of colonial British flair can be found & sensed along every walkway.
Imagine the scenario of horses and carriages by the carriageway (now the driveway), the sound of clipperty-clops and colonial dressed gentlemen bringing their ladies to tiffin and high tea … (incidentally, this is not an ad for Raffles Hotel 🙂 )
