From Garden, to Kitchen, to Table

I know I will always need to go the store(s) to get food necessities such as Rice, Olive Oil, Noodles, Butter … but it sure feels good when I can get enough veggies from the backyard to prepare some meals.

Today I made a vegetarian mix using Eggplant, Tomatoes, Radish, Moringa Oleifera leaves and lots of Sweet Basil from the backyard. I couldn’t resist buying mushrooms from my area’s mom-n-pop produce store.

  1. That looks fantastic. My significant other is a vegetarian and I am always on the lookout for new recipes. He isn’t very picky thank goodness, but this recipe looks so yummy I will have to try it this weekend. I am growing basil in my backyard as well.
