Jamaica’s Ocho Rios

Ocho Rios literally means Eight Rivers (Spanish) is a touristy area in Jamaica, a 2-hour drive from Kingston, her capital. We got a free 2-hr ride from our host who was heading there on business.

We decided to skip the town and instead explore Dunn’s River Falls, which is actually a waterfall fed by spring water over uneven rocky terrain, flowing into the sea.

I decided to cross the Rio slowly & found the water very refreshing, almost like feet therapy.

One thing is for sure, the next time I head here I will bring a swimsuit!!

  1. What great images. Your selected shutter speeds have really added even more interest and have given the cascades a silky look.Great work.
