The beauty of Wood is fascinating… the different types of wood and their weight, density, grains, smell, etc.  There’s Rosewood, Teak, Blackwood, Cedar, Sandalwood, the list goes on & on ~ and sometimes I wonder if all these qualities contribute to the global deforestation, or are trees mainly cut down to clear land for farming. (I guess I’m just obsessed with the haze that has enveloped S.E. Asia caused by land clearing in Indonesia.) But life goes on …

Alas, I am but a nano living being with a love for wood and an intrigue as to why termites find some delicious to devour but not others.
