So many articles have recently emerged in the news about those disposable chopsticks you get in American Chinese restaurants – like Huffington Post’s, as an example, I’ve decided to chip in to show how I, an Asian ex-urbanite, make my chopstick rest when eating at a restaurant’s table. (By the way, for health’s sake, do not rest your chopsticks flat on the table!)
Heck! it’s idiot proof … you don’t need a chopstick hack (whatever that is) to get you to break the sticks, risk breaking your fingernails &/or go into lengthy debates about bamboo grains, etc. Just follow the steps below & you’ll have your chopstick rest. It’ll take only a few seconds & make you look like a seasoned chopstick user. 😀
