I love this so-called “weed”. It is part of the mint family, has many names but horticulturally known as Plectranthus amboinicus fragrant in cooking/garnishing and super easy to grow. It blends very well with sweet basil in a pasta sauce, but it does need to be cut up a little. Those presently growing in my backyard, I can assure you, are a little bigger than normal.
The leaf/stem pattern growth itself is, I find, simply beautiful.
This weedy herb is excellent in Turkey stuffing!
