After 11 months, the “Asian House” became kind of habitable but no sod = no Certificate of Occupancy (COO)  😦  after much ado with County’s Building Inspectors, as this was not their usual house design inspection, we got our sod and we got our COO!  Yeah! still required a bit of  roughing it out, so we camped here on weekends, DIYing the interior.

Anyway when we did get this crazy COO, we decided to bring luck our way ~ the Asian way ~ and have a Red Door, yes, 门 …  afterall it’s the mouth/entrance of Chi (natural energy) into our little habitat.
